SAFETY INFORMATION

Safety information for the protection of toonity members

The Internet is anonymous and nothing to do with real life. It is possible that someone gives false information in the Internet and pretends to be somebody he is not.

Don't forget that all the information in the Internet can be seen by a lot of other people and can be stored for a very long time without you having any influence on this. Therefore, please be particularly careful with all the information which you give in the Internet about yourself and others.

You should obey the following rules at all costs:
1.Do not publish any personal data such as your first name and surname (always only use your nickname), address, telephone number, name of your school or passwords, as otherwise other people can find you and annoy you.
2.Do not publish anything which could be embarrassing for you later. Think carefully before you upload a photo or provide information which, for example, your parents or your boss are not meant to see!
3.Do not show any pictures on which other people can recognise a certain place at which you can often or sometimes be seen.
4.Don´t give everyone your e-mail address
5.Do not provide any information about your parents, brothers/sisters, family or friends. If someone wants to know something about your family or friends, ask this person beforehand what you are supposed and allowed to answer.
6.Never say anything about money.
7.Never use data such as your parents´ credit card number, ID card number of similar, never enter them in a form in the Internet and do not disclose them to other people.
8.Talk to your parents or any other person of trust if you are asked to provide certain information such as telephone number, address, in the Internet or someone asks you to do unpleasant things.
9.If something seems strange to you or someone asks you unpleasant, annoying or embarrassing questions, consult your parents or any other person.
10.Never meet an unknown person or someone whom you only know via the Internet alone or at an unknown place. In any case, tell a person of your trust before each meeting where, when and who you are meeting. Get an adult to take you or accompany you to the meeting.
11.Report annoyance, hate-filled messages or unsuitable contents. If you think that someone´s conduct is unsuitable, do something about it. Talk to an adult whom you trust or report the incident to toonity or the police.
12.You should not claim that you are older or younger than you actually are. If you give false information on your age, your profile will be deleted by toonity.

As we recommend that parents monitor their minor children when surfing on the Internet as a matter of principle, minors should only use toonity.com in the presence of a parent or guardian.
