Comic Creator competition for the release of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” - June 2011

To mark the release of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” on 2 June, we’re launching a great Comic Creator competition for you on toonity.com.

The hilarious film “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” is a mix of a kid’s book and a comic and tells the story of some adolescent boys. In a cheeky and hilarious way, Greg, the main character, describes his life at school and why this and his family – especially his brother, Rodrick – are driving him to despair. Something that will always ring true, and not just with kids.

How to take part in the competition at toonity.com:

Use Comic Creator to design a comic in the style of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2". It’s up to you – the sky’s the limit with all the Comic Creator items available. Why not tell us something funny that happened to you, your friends or your siblings. But you should definitely include some of the characters and settings from the film in your comic. Of course, you can also include a photo of yourself in your comic using the photo upload tool.
Don't forget to save your comic first!
In order to enter your comic in the competition and get it rated by other toonity.com users, upload it under the menu item “MYWORK/MYCOMICCREATORCOMICS” in the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2“ gallery.

ATTENTION:

Only Comic Creator comics which capture the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” items theme have a chance to win!
User ratings will be accepted during the competition. However, winners will be selected by the toonity.com jury at the end of the competition. Evaluations by other users will be taken into consideration in our decision but will not be the sole determining factor in who receives a prize.

• So what’s “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” all about?

In DIARY OF A WIMPY KID – RODRICK RULES, once again, it's all about Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) and his efforts to survive school and family life unscathed and as coolly as possible. Greg has managed to make it to Junior High and left the dreaded Cheese Touch behind him, but now he faces new problems in his own home: during the summer holidays, Greg’s older brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) doesn’t miss a single opportunity to torment his younger brother – and this time, he threatens to destroy Greg’s life forever…
