„Take part in the toonity.com SPEED-PAINTING COMPETITION!“
Not a professional artist? Not a problem! Having fun drawing is what counts and what’s more, we’re giving away 3 prizes for both our younger (up to 14) and older (15 and over) artists alike.
It's very simple:
- At 6pm CET on the dot, read through the topic we post in the event area at toonity.com (click on the speed painting competition banner) and think carefully about how your picture could best interpret the topic.
- Draw a suitable picture on the given topic. You have just time until 8pm CET. There will be a board, where you can discuss with other participants during and after the competition.
- Scan your drawing (+ your picture as a “work in progress”) or photograph it using a digital camera. Make sure that your picture is oriented correctly - if not, your picture will not be eligible for the competition. This functionality is made easy with graphics programmes such as Paint or Gimp.
- Save the drawing on your PC.
- Register at toonity.com, or if you are registered already, log in with your nickname and password at toonity.com.
- Upload your drawing onto the toonity.com server under "MYWORK/MYDRAWINGS".
- Select the toonity.com SPEED-PAINTING-COMPETITION GALLERY 06.07.2010 and release the picture.

ATTENTION:
- Only pictures that you have drawn yourself, which deal with the given topic of the Speed-Painting competition, are in with a winning chance! It is not allowed to use already existing pictures or pictures from the web (even if they are changed). These pictures will not rated by our jury.
- So that we can be absolutely sure that you’ve drawn the picture yourself, you must also upload your picture as a “work in progress” (e.g. a sketch that’s not coloured in yet) along with the final version at 8pm CET. Without this additional upload of your “work in progress” your picture will not be eligible for the competition.
- The winners of the Speed-Painting competition will be announced in the board round about 20:30 on the 06.07. by the jury. On the 06.07. the winners will be released here in the usual way, too.
The best, most creative drawings win cool prizes.

@Lunamoon, also wenn ich richtig gezählt habe waren es 6 in der Kategorie bis 15 und 5 in der Kategorie ab 16, bzw sogar 6, wenn man den Beitrag von Lyra der net mehr hier drin steht mitgezählt hätte |

So wir gratulieren dann den 6 glücklichen Gewinnern, wobei wir uns auch die Mühe gemacht haben, jeweils eine kleine Begründung hinzuzufügen. Zuerst einmal die Kategorie der 0-15jährigen: Der 3. Platz geht an Carmsge, da das Hündchen, das den Sternenstab von Tootsie klaut einfach zu ihr passt und sie ein lustiges Gespann abgeben. Der 2. Platz geht an Aloha25, da das Bild einfach gute Laune macht und das Maskottchen kreativ und sehr farbenfroh umgesetzt ist. Der 1. Platz geht an Isabel_R, da sie Tootsie einen sympathischen und sehr kreativ gestalteten Freund an die Seite gestellt hat und außerdem mit ihm ein sehr nettes Paar abgibt. Es folgt die Kategorie der ab 16jährigen: Der 3. Platz geht an TerrorAlpaca, da wir die Polaroid-Foto-Idee auch mehr als gut finden. Sie strahlt eine sehr schöne und harmonische Szenerie aus und besticht dann auch noch mit einer tollen Giraffe. Der 2. Platz geht an Finsternis5, da er die mehr als witzige Idee Tootsie ein „hässliches“ Haustier an die Seite zu geben mit einer sehr lustigen Situationskomik und auch mehr als sympathisch umgesetzt hat. Wer weiß, vielleicht findet sich das Schweinchen bald auch in der Welt von Tootsie wieder. Der 1. Platz geht an Tek-man, da seine Version von Tootsie, als eine „große“ Version des Maskottchens sehr interessant umgesetzt ist und wohl klar einer der eher ungewöhnlichen Beiträge des Speedpainting Wettbewerbes ist. Natürlich gibt es einige Proportionsfehler, aber über die kann man bei so einem Beitrag, mit so einer interessanten Umsetzung auch hinweg sehen, besonders wenn auch die Idee zählt. Toll finden wir auch, dass Tek-Man seinen eigenen Chara eingebracht hat. Wir wünschen allen Teilnehmern viel Spaß mit ihren Preisen und hoffen, dass ihr auch bald wieder an den Wettbewerben teilnehmen werdet.
